LOCATION
Platte City, Capital of Platte County, is strategically located approximately 220 miles South and West of the geographical center of the United States and 5 miles north of Kansas City International Airport. Interstate I-29 runs through the corporate area of the city with I-435 intersecting I-29 at the city’s southern limits. Platte City is also strategically located along Missouri Highway 92, which runs east and west through town. Platte City’s location at the northwest corner of the intersection of two major north/south & east/west interstates makes an easy commute to any location in the Kansas City metro area.

Northland Career Center is a public, not-for-profit technical school offering day and evening classes for secondary and post-secondary students. Established in 1979, Northland Career Center is a part of the Platte County R-3 School District in Platte City, MO. They offer one and two year programs, preparing students for high wage, high demand occupations.
