Community Development Partnership

The Platte City Community Development Partnership, formed in 2010, is a partnership which exists to serve the economic development interests of Platte City businesses and citizens. It is comprised of representatives from the City of Platte City, Platte City Chamber & EDC, Platte County R-3 School District and Platte County Economic Development Council. The partnership works from a measurable, annual strategic marketing/operating plan created collaboratively which sets forth specific development goals for the community. The focus is on business retention and attraction, marketing and development efforts and goals. The partnership is an active advocate for positive, constructive growth in the City of Platte City.
